KRC's latest complete crate engine kits!

 
KRC's all new CT525 complete crate engine kits are designed just for dirt applications. With a slight weight adjustment, late models with a CT525 can compete against $40,000 super late model engines.

The water pump that comes on the CT525 has no provision for a mechanical fan to attach. KRC's kit replaces the water pump with a clockwise rotation Stewart Pro Series water pump. Also included is KRC's idler-tensioner to keep proper belt tension and prevent belt slippage when using a mechanical fan. Click here to read more on KRC's idler-tensioners. In addition, a R-LOK crank adapter and pulley, Pro Series water pump pulley, water bypass fittings and hose kit, water pump fittings, water pump spacers, hardware and spacers and installation instructions are all included.

We offer two version of our dirt kits. Each kit includes the above listed items.
Water Pump Only Drive Kit (KRC 77525000): Our water pump only drive kit allows a power steering pump to be drive off the bellhousing. Click here for bellhousing mounted power steering pumps.
Front Mounted Power Steering Pump (KRC 77525110): The front mounted kit includes an aluminum power steering pump with 45° bolt-on tank and head mounted pump bracket.

Alternator Add-On Kit (KRC 77525060)
The alternator add-on kit includes a Powermaster 95amp Denso alternator, 2.5" aluminum alternator pulley, alternator brackets, belt, hardware and spacers and installation instructions. This kit works on both our water pump only and front mounted pump crate kits.
The CT525 has coil packs instead of a distributor which requires more from your battery. Plus if an electric fuel pump is used an alternator may be required. KRC recommends only running without an alternator on the CT525 if the races are short in length.
