KRC Surge Tank
Our aluminum surge tank has a billet aluminum neck, with two 1/4” pipe fittings on each side, one 1/2” pipe fitting on the bottom and one 1/8” pipe fitting on the neck. A roll-bar mounting bracket is welded to the back for installation in the engine compartment. This tank is required when running a CT525 with the factory water pump. On the CT525 a line will run from the bottom of the surge tank to the front heater hose on the water pump. Another line will run from the water bypass fittings to the side of the surge tank, then from the side of the surge tank to the top of your radiator.
